This year the Clayfield Farms 2025 Monthly Calendar is a collection of images called "Stills of Life on a Flower Farm." All the flowers and foliage pictured were grown in our fields and unheated hoop house. The back spread contains a year at the glance list of dates for 2025 and 2026.

ABOUT THE IMAGES:
In the busyness of life it is easy to simply go through the motions, to survive instead of savor. This year I wanted to contrast everyday life on the flower farm with highly curated still lifes, where local flowers shine. The contrast between these two is similar to real life, in that some moments are perfectly put together - every detail is considered - the matching family pajamas or your Thanksgiving table-scape. Other moments of beauty hit when you least expect them - an incredible sunset at the end of a long day or watching your daughter ride a bike for the first time.
All of these moments are beautiful and worth capturing - the everyday and the expertly planned. In photography images are sometimes referred to as “stills” because they freeze a moment in time. I hope these “Stills of Life on a Flower Farm” inspire you to find beauty in the mundane and the magnificent this coming year.
